Here’s a chance for YOU to get involved in an Angel Deed! This winter I have been doing Angel Deeds in memory of the 26 victims who lost their lives in the Sandy Hook shooting one year ago. My next Angel Deed is in memory of 6-year-old Sandy Hook victim, Charlotte Bacon.
I read online that since the age of 2, Charlotte wanted to be a veterinarian. Her family said that in her 6 years of life, Charlotte had never come across an animal that she didn’t like. I immediately knew that I wanted this Angel Deed to be about animals, and helping in some sort of way.
The next day I came across an article on Facebook about a local horse that had been abandoned. The horse had been roaming, frail and skinny, when animal control found her. They took the horse, who also goes by the name “Madi”, to a farm in Sicklerville, NJ called, Home on God’s Range. Since then, no one has come forward to claim her. We decided to help with Madi’s costs, as she resides at Home on God’s Range with other rescue horses.
I wanted to get in touch with the farm’s owners and see how we can help Madi and the horses they have rescued. Watch the video HERE to find out more about Madi and Home on God’s Range.
Will you donate a dollar or more towards this Angel Deed and help Madi, while honoring Sandy Hook victim Charlotte? Your donation can buy necessities like hay, bedding, and feed for Madi the horse.
$6.00 = bale of hay
$8.00 = bedding
$17-27 = senior horse feed
If you would like to make a donation, you can do so through www.Paypal.com to AngelsClothingCloset@gmail.com in care of the farm, Home on God’s Range. You can also mail a donation to 334 South Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071. We will be accepting donations through February 15, 2014.
